Volta ao Algarve
The Volta ao Algarve (Tour of the Algarve in English) is a portuguese stage cycling race which is disputed in the region of Algarve in Portugal.
Considered as the second most important race of Portugal behind the Tour of Portugal, the Volta ao Algarve takes part of the UCI ProSeries calendar.
Stefan Kung distinguished himself there by winning the Individual time-trial in the fifth stage of last years edition.
Stage 1 – Portimão > Lagos – 200,8 km – february, 14th
Stage 2 – Lagoa > Alto de Fóia – 171,9 km – february, 15th
Stage 3 – Vila Real de Santo Antonio > Tavira – 192,2 km – february, 16th
Stage 4 (ITT) – Albufeira > Albufeira – 22 km – february, 17th
Stage 5 – Faro > Alto de Malhao – 165,8 km – february, 18th
