The Volta ao Algarve (Tour of the Algarve in English) is a portuguese stage cycling race which is disputed in the region of Algarve in Portugal.
Considered as the second most important race of Portugal behind the Tour of Portugal, the Volta ao Algarve takes part of the UCI ProSeries calendar.
Stefan Küng distinguished himself there by winning a time-trial stage in 2019.
Stage 1 – Portimão > Lagos – 199,1 km – 16th february
Stage 2 – Albufeira > Alto de Fóia – 182,4 km – 17th february
Stage 3 – Almodôvar > Faro – 209,1 km – 18th february
Stage 4 (ITT) – Vila Real de Santo Antonio > Tavira – 32,2 km – 19th february
Stage 5 – Lagoa > Malhão – 173 km – 20th february
