UCI Road World Championships – ITT
This year’s UCI Road World Championships 2023 are taking place in Scotland, more particularly around the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. The race is organized within the framework of the inter-disciplinary World Championships (MTB, track, road, etc.) hence the unusual date at the beginning of August.
It is the 90th edition of the competion and the 5nd time coming to the United Kingdom, 4 years after Yorkshire in 2019.
On this year’s individual time-trial, the start and arrival will take place in Stirling on a loop of 47.8km.
During last year’s edition, Stefan Kung failed to claim the title for a few seconds on Tobias Foss, this year, he will be keen to climb the last step in his quest for the rainbow jersey.
