The race line-up
The Tour of Switzerland is a swiss stage cycling race created in 1933 which takes part of the UCI World Tour calendar, highest level of international cyclism.
The race has a relatively similar parcours from the Criterium du Dauphiné with its high mountains and individual time-trial stages which makes it a preparatory race for next month big event, the Tour de France.
The 2020 edition could not take place due to the covid-19 health crisis.
Stage 1 (ITT) – Frauenfeld > Frauenfeld – 10,9km – 6th june
Stage 2 – Neuhausen a.R. > Lachen – 173 km – 7th june
Stage 3 – Lachen > Pfaffnau – 185 km – 8th june
Stage 4 – St. Urban > Gstaad– 171km – 9th june
Stage 5 – Gstaad > Loèche-les-Bains – 172km – 10th june
Stage 6 – Fiesch > Disentis Sedrun – 162 km – 11th june
Stage 7 (ITT) – Disentis – Sedrun > Andermatt – 23,2 km – 12th june
Stage 8 – Andermatt > Andermatt – 118 km – 13th june
