The race line-up
The Tour de l’Ain is a French stage cycling race taking place annually since 1989. The race was however created in 1960 under the name Prix de l’Amitié.
In 2008, the race entered the UCI Europe Tour calendar in category 2.1.
Thibaut Pinot is the record holder for the most wins of the Tour de l’Ain with two victories 2017 and 2019.
Stage 1 – Parc des Oiseaux (Villars-les-Dombes) > Bourg-en-Bresse – 141 km – 29th july
Stage 2 – Lagnieu > Saint-Vulbas – 136 km – 30th july
Stage 3 – Izernore > Lélex-Monts-Jura – 125 km – 31st july
