The race line-up
The Tirreno Adriatico 2021 is the 56th edition of this italian professional stage cyclist race taking parts of the UCI World Tour calendar.
Created in 1966, the race starts from the shores of the Tyrrhenian sea to arrive on the Adriatic coast, more precisely in San Benedetto del Tronto where the race always finish.
Contested in the beginning of the season, the Tirreno Adriatico is considered as a preparation race for the classic Milan-San Remo.
On this year’s program, more than 1 138 kilometers divided into 7 stages.
Stage 1 – Lido di Camaiore > Lido di Camaiore – 156 km – 10th march
Stage 2 – Camaiore > Chiusdino – 226 km – 11th march
Stage 3 – Monticiano > Gualdo Tadino – 189 km – 12th march
Stage 4 – Terni > Prati di Tivo – 148 km – 13th march
Stage 5 – Castellalto > Casterlfidard – 205 km – 14th march
Stage 6 – Castelraimondo > Lido di Fermo – 169 km – 15th march
Stage 7 (ITT) – San Benedetto del Tronto > San Benedetto del Tronto – 11,1 km – 16th march
