The Giro d’Italia U23 is an Italian stage cycling race created in 1970 on the same model as the Tour de l’Avenir.
Until 2012, the race was opened to cyclists under the age of 27 in category 2.2 of the UCI Europe Tour calendar. In 2017, the race came back with a new formula based on cyclists under 23 years old.
