The race line-up
The Étoile de Bessèges – Tour du Gard was created in 1971 by Roland Fangille, a former cyclist and is the first european stage race of the professional calendar in category 2.1.
This 2022 edition is placed under the sign of renewal with four new arrivals and four hill finishes.
Stage 1 – Bellegarde > Bellegarde – 160,8km – 2nd february
Stage 2 – Saint-Christol-lez-Alès > Rousson – 156,2 km – 3rd february
Stage 3 – Bessèges > Bessèges – 155,6 km – 4th february
Stage 4 – Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas > Mont Bouquet – 145,5 km – 5th february
Stage 5 (ITT) – Alès > Alès – 10,6km – 6th february
