E3 Saxo Classic
The E3 Saxo Classic is a one day, classic belgian race created in 1958.
Its start and arrival are located in the city of Harelbeke in the province of West-Flanders which makes it a preparatory race for the flandrian classics, especially the Tour of Flanders, disputed 9 days later.
This race is characterized by its numerous cobbled sectors while borrowing the famous belgian mounts.
Since 2012, the E3 Saxo Bank Classic is part of the UCI World Tour calendar.
