The Flèche Wallonne is a one-day, classic belgian race created in 1936 which takes part in the UCI World Tour calendar.

The race is caractegorized by its hilly profile and the mythical Mur du Huy (Wall of Huy) and its 26% of ascent on certain portion which the riders will have to pass by several times, especially on the arrival.

It is the only one-day, classic race of the UCI World Tour calendar ending by a ascent of this type.

Usually contested on the second part of April, one week before one of the five Monuments of cycling, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the race has been postponed to the 30th of september due to the covid-19 health crisis.
