The race line-up
La Route d’Occitanie is a stage cycling race taking place in the South-West of France.
Created in 1977 and initially named “La Route du Tarn”, the race changed its name numerous times from “Tour Midi-Pyrénées” to “La Route du Sud” until 2017 where it finally became “La Route d’Occitanie”.
The race is viewed as preparatory for the French Championships and the Tour de France.
Originally scheduled for June 11th to 14th, the race was postponed to August 1st to 4th due to the covid-19 health crisis.
Stage 1 – Saint-Affrique > Cazouls-les-Béziers – 189,5 km – 1st august
Stage 2 – Carcassonne > Cap Découverte – 182,5 km – 2nd august
Stage 3 – Saint-Gaudens > Col de Beyrède – 167 km – 3rd august
Stage 4 – Lectoure > Rocamadour – 203 km – 4th august
