Paris-Nice

Paris-Nice is a professional stage cycling race created in 1933 which takes place during 8 days in March.

Nicknamed the “Race for the sun” because the riders leave from the Paris region in often cold and winter conditions to reach the south of France and its warmer and spring temperatures.

Paris-Nice is the first stage race on the UCI World Tour calendar and is one of the most prestigious races in France, just like Paris-Roubaix.

Stage 1 – Plaisir > Plaisir – 154 km – 8 march
Stage 2 – Chevreuse > Chalette-sur-Loing – 166,5 km – 9 march
Stage 3 – Chalette-sur-Loing > La Châtre – 212,5 km – 10 march
Stage 4 (ITT) – Saint-Amand-Montrond > Saint-Amand-Montrond – 15,1 km – 11 march
Stage 5 – Gannat > La Côte-Saint-André – 227,5 km – 12 march
Stage 6 – Sorgues > Apt – 160,5 km – 13 march
Stage 7 – Nice > Valdeblore la Colmiane – 166,5 km – 14 march
Stage 8 – Nice > Nice – 113,5 km – 15 march
