Volta ao Algarve
The Volta ao Algarve (Tour of the Algarve in English) is a portuguese stage cycling race which is disputed in the region of Algarve in Portugal.
Considered as the second most important race of Portugal behind the Tour of Portugal, the Volta ao Algarve takes part of the UCI ProSeries calendar.
Stefan Kung distinguished himself there by winning the Individual time-trial in the fifth stage of the 2023 edition.
Stage 1 – Portimão > Lagos – 190 km – 19th february
Stage 2 – Lagoa > Alto de Fóia – 177,6 km – 20th february
Stage 3 – Vila Real de Santo Antonio > Tavira – 183,5 km – 21st february
Stag 4 – Albufeira > Faro – 175,2 km – 22nd february
Stage 5 (ITT)– Salir > Malhao – 19,6 km – 23th february
