Tour of Oman
The Tour of Oman is a stage race created in 2010 by the ASO group (Amaury Sport Organisation).
Cancelled for two consecutive years due to the death of the Sultan and the covid-19 health crisis, the race resumes in 2022 and joins the UCI ProSeries calendar.
This is the first year that the Groupama-FDJ cycling team is taking part of the race, following on from the Muscat Classic.
Stage 1 – Bushar > Bimmah Sink Hole – 170km – February 8th
Stage 2 – Al Rustaq Fort > Yitti Hills- 203km – February 9th
Stage 3 – Fanja > Eastern Mountain- 181 km – February 10th
Stage 4 – Oman Across Ages Museum > Oman Convention and Exhibition Center – 181.5 km – February 11th
Stage 5 – Imty > Jabal Al Akhdhar (Green Mountain)- 139km – February 12th
